- How does the Endeavor program work?
- First and foremost you will have to decide which Endeavor block and aircraft type is appropriate for you. If you are uncertain we will create a mission profile for you and provide you with an analysis of aircraft choice and incremental block. Then you simply deposit the amount of your Endeavor purchase and start flying. The hours you fly will be debited from your account at actual flight time.
- How is Endeavor different from fractional ownership?
- When purchasing an Endeavor block you do not have a large capital outlay to purchase a portion of an aircraft and on top of that you have no recurring expenses per month. When you purchase a fractional share you physically have to pay to buy your equivalent share of the aircraft and pay a monthly management fee on top of the occupied hourly cost. With Endeavor you simply make one purchase and obtain those flight hours with no monthly expenses, even the purchase of Endeavor blocks are significantly less than buying a share of an aircraft.
- How is Endeavor different from a Marquis Jet Card?
- Marquis Jet simply resells you a smaller portion of a NetJets fractional share in 25 hour increments. The monthly management fees and acquisition costs of the fractional share are simply repackaged into a one time block purchase. The result is that you are now paying the same exaggerated hourly rates. For example: A 25 hour Marquis Jet block in a Hawker 800XP costs $194,900 which equates to $7,966 per hour. If you purchased the same amount of Midsize jet flight time on Endeavor you would be saving $65,650 on the initial block and $2,796 per hour.
- What is the difference between an average charter rate per hour and an occupied charter rate?
- Typically all aircraft have a rate per hour assigned to them. This rate is applied whenever the aircraft moves. The average rate per hour doesn't include repositioning time or any extra fees for the aircraft which would be added .An occupied rate per hour is the rate from a passenger point of view of only when they are on-board the aircraft and generally is all inclusive. Endeavor only debits occupied hours from your account plus 12 minutes for take-off and Taxi fuel.
- How is Endeavor different from other card programs?
- Other jet card programs simply entice you to put down a certain amount of money i.e $100,000 or $200,000 increments. They do not guarantee occupied hourly pricing or a certain amount of flight time. You are just putting money on account with them and often at their discretion to deduct from your account. The only incentive they offer is a 6% annual return of interest on your money. This equates to $6,000 annually which doesn’t even equate to 2 hours in a midsize jet. Endeavor will guarantee both occupied hourly pricing and the purchase of a specific amount of flight time, thus being more reliable, tangible and a smarter investment.
- What is the benefit of purchasing an Endeavor block as opposed to straight chartering every time I need an aircraft?
- Hourly occupied pricing on straight charter flights can vary greatly depending on your trip parameters and based on aircraft availability. With Endeavor you get a guaranteed occupied hourly rate as well as guaranteed aircraft availability. By chartering it can get expensive when you need a one-way and the aircraft availability doesn’t exist. You would then have to pay large repositioning fees and round trip whether you occupy the aircraft or not.
- How will I be billed after I purchase an Endeavor block?
- Every time you fly, the amount of "wheels up to wheels down" hours you occupy the aircraft will be debited from your account plus 12 minutes to allow for our taxi/take off fuel burn. Your actual flight hours are verified using Hobbs time(1/10 of an hour increments) according to either our accurate flight tracking system or directly from the cockpit FMS readout. Standard landing fees and standard catering is included in your direct hourly cost and membership initiation fee.
- What occurs when I need a larger or smaller plane than the block that I purchased?
- Unlike our competitors, Endeavor offers you flexibility in aircraft choice for flights by using our interchange conversion chart. For example, if you purchased a 50 hr Midsize jet block and have the odd trip where you need to take other executives or family members along and need a larger aircraft such as a Gulfstream or Challenger, we would simply use your current block hours with a conversion ratio for just the hours flown on the larger aircraft on that flight. This way you still maintain your regular flight block and do not need to make additional purchases.
- Can I extend my Endeavor block to others and can I use more than one aircraft at one time?
- Yes, with Endeavor you can extend the block hours to family members and/or other members of your corporation. At the same time you can use multiple aircraft simultaneously as well as from different parts of the country. We have quite a few large families and corporations that purchase one Endeavor block and utilize the aircraft. As opposed to fractional shares where you cannot use the aircraft simultaneously or extend to non-owners.
- Endeavor is great when occupied hourly rates are of benefit. What occurs when I need for example a same day round trip flight?
- For Endeavor flights that meet two hour per day flight minimum requirements and are round trip in nature, ACP Jets will apply a conversion ratio of 0.7 to your current designated occupied hourly rate. In essence you are then increasing your available block hours by 25%. This conversion is unprecedented, for example with Marquis Jet you would still pay the same rate per hour whether r/t or one-way.
- What is the geographic service area for the Endeavor program?
- The primary coverage area for all Endeavor aircraft includes the contiguous US, the Bahamas, Northern peninsula of Mexico and any point up to the 200 nautical miles of US border in Canada and Mexico. The extended coverage area includes Hawaii, up to Anchorage, Alaska and the lower Caribbean such as St. Maarten, San Juan and portions of South America. Call us to see if a destination you frequent is in our primary or secondary coverage area.
- What is the contract term for Endeavor and what occurs if I do not use up my allocated hours within that time?
- Endeavor program membership terms are structured upon a year. If purchased hours are not assimilated within this time frame a grace period of up to but no longer than four months are given to utilize these hours. If you decided to renew your Endeavor membership then the unused hours are added to your new block purchase.
